Each Sunday we choose another great female medic, past or present, and acknowledge their contribution to medicine in Ireland.

This initiative began with our Advent Calendar in 2018, inspired by the Medical Women’s Federation.

We are very happy to take nominations for #SundayWiMIN, and remember - each woman working in medicine in Ireland deserves to be honoured, not just those who achieve “great things”, but also those who simply go about their business every day and get the job done.
